Saturday morning we planned an adventure. We decided to take the boys and meet with family at the Jr Museum. Rhonda, Naomi and Dawn all met us there. It was so much fun and reminded me that we need to take the boys there more often. All of the animals were out so we could see them. Connor called the Panther "Annie" which is the name of one of our cats. He was so excited. Daniel had a great time too. He was more interested in the historical parts of the museum and him and I explored the old store, house and caboose together. We also watched the blacksmith make a tomahawk, which he later let Allen, Dawn and Daniel throw.
Allen was thrilled about this picture can you tell?
Daniel was too cool to participate in the bat pictures, so we took this one
scared me to death....
No fear of the snakes.... he giggled while he watched them move around
Later that afternoon we went over to Rhonda and John's house to watch a HORRIBLE football game against Clemson and eat dinner. Of course, being the out of control Florida State fans that we are, we were screaming at the TV almost the entire game. Connor decided to join in at one point:
Go Noles! Pass interference again?!?!
The next morning, we woke up and started getting ready to go to church and then go visit my dad. While Allen and I were getting dressed, packing bags, making breakfast, etc. this is what the boys were up to:
Yup, they were relaxing, chatting on the phone chilling in our bed. And they thought it was hilarious. I have to admit, it was pretty funny to see. These boys are usually up to something and they usually make me laugh.
We went to church which was wonderful and then we went to visit my dad. Its nice that he is so much closer to us, we get to go to church in the morning and still get things accomplished in the afternoon. All in all we had a great weekend!
Have a great week!
