Howdy Strangers!

Oh man.... sorry its been so long.  We started the summer with a bang and then started to chill out and hang out around town.  He have had a ton of fun, but nothing huge... so I neglected the blog.  Sorry!  My goal for after today is to blog once a week.  We will see how that goes!

So what have we been up to?  So much!  Here we go!

We took Connor to me one of his favorite people (?) ELMO!!!!

He was not having it at first.... I was a little suprosed at Elmo's eagerness until I realized he was a teenage boy!

It was so much fun and Connor was so cute,  He was scared at first, but then he would not leave Elmo alone.  Notice the shoes.... he had a Elmo shirt on too.  He is a true fan!

Next, it was Daniel's turn.  We took him to the Tallahassee Muesam to go zip-lining!

The very next weekend was Daniel's little sister, Lailani's birthday party.  It was awesome of Cassie to invite us and the kids love love playing together.  I love being able to get the kids together.

I also attempted to teach Connor how to help me clean his room.  This is how he helped:

We had dinner with my grandma one afternoon and on the way back from her house, I decided to stop by and show the boys one of my favorite places in town.  A place where I grew up and learned so much!

Then, it was time to say goodbye to summer and hello to 4th grade at Canopy Oaks!

He was super excited!  Best first day of school ever!

The first week of school went so well for Daniel.  He has come so far in the last few months and I am so excited for his future and this school year... which is huge for us!

So, that gets us caught up to this last weekend.  We started it Friday night with my boys trying to figure out something about us women:

Saturday night Allen and I went out to celebrate my friend Kari's brthday!  We went dancing and had so so much fun!

Sunday we hung out around the house and did chores.  When we were done we decided to go out and play since Tropical Storm Isaac was on his way and not going to play nice for the next couple of days!

So, that was the end of our summer!  Now football, holidays and cooler weather are all headed our way.  I am sad to see summer go, but excited for the next few months.
