We had a wonderful Easter. We started off the weekend with an Easter Egg hunt at Rhonda and John's church, New Hope in Havana.
Connor started a little bit confused but he quickly got the hang of it and got a ton of eggs. There were 2 different kinds of prize eggs. Daniel only hunted for the prize eggs and got 2 of them. They were both happy campers with the amount of candy that they got (and I ate hehe).
Then Naomi came over Saturday night and we dyed Easter eggs.

Shortly after we got done it was time for bed so the Easter Bunny could come. And he did!
It was fun to watch him look for them. We even lost a few ourselves.
We had an awesome Easter. It was a nice relaxing holiday spent with family. I am so thankful for my family and my kiddos.... can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us!
Earlier I mentioned 2 precious gifts. Well, my aunt-in-law and her husband, Rhonda and John, welcomed their twins Rachael Ruth and Grant Collin on March 5, 2013. They were born via surrogate at 29 weeks. Things were a little touch and go for a little while, but they are now doing wonderful! Little Rachael is scheduled to come home this week and Grant will not be too far behind her. I have been spending a lot of time going to see these precious babies and helping their mom and dad get ready for them. Because they were so premature, their immune system is extremely delicate. I have taken some pictures and will share those later. I hope to do a "newborn shoot" with these guys when they come home. I have never done anything like that before, but I have an awesome new camera and have been studying some work of photographers that I know personally. These babies are a gift from above and I have fallen in love with them! I cannot wait for my boys to meet them! As soon as I can I will share these babies with all of you!
