Fair time!

One of my favorite things of fall (which everything is my favorite because I love fall) is the North Florida Fair.  I used to love going when I was younger.  I would ride all of the rides and laugh and scream.  Now that age has set it, I do not ride so much anymore.... not at all really.  Between the motion sickness and the fair being the main reason why my back is so messed up now, I just watch.  My children do not watch.  They love it!  This was Connor's first year where he could really ride some of the rides.  My littlest man grew up right in front of my eyes.  He was not scared and did not need mama to hold him and tell him that it was going to be okay.  He was a big brave boy and he loved every minute of it.  Daniel is so busy and ran from line to line to take in every single second he could.  Man, I love my kids.  They are awesome.
We ALWAYS start with the animals.  I am the mean mom who does not let my kids run to the first ride they see.  If we do not go to the animals first, then we never make it.

Then we started on the rides.  And we ran into some crazy kids who we love to death!
Daniel and Lailani

I love that they treat Connor like a brother too.... it makes our interesting extended family even better

this was Connor's first "roller coaster".... you see that smile?

Allen and John had to ride too!
Then it was food time!  I always get a corn dog and a funnel cake to share.  I also always regreat said corn dog and funnel cake.  The boys wanted turkey legs this year... so that is what they got!
They were good, although we are fairly certain they were not turkey.....

We then went on some more rides with the kiddos.

Kiddie bumper cars.... Lailani rode too, but she was pretty far away the whole time
me and the hubs

the ONLY ride I went on.... the kiddie ferris wheel!

the crazy loud gang next to us!
Last ride of the night and the only good picture I got of it!

We had so so much fun this year.  The things that I enjoyed as a kid are even more enjoyable now seeing it through the eyes of my boys.  I love that I get a chance to relive my childhood through my kids.  Oh, Connor was so super excited the entire time that his loud squeals were often followed by meltdown cries because he could not contain himself.  Hilarious.  Man, I am totally in love with these kids.

Oh, by the way, we are heading to Disney World!  Expect a huge post after Thanksgiving!  Yay!
