Halloween fun! (finally)

This post has been in the works since the day after Halloween.... finally I will be able to post it!

So, we started our Halloween festivities with a trip to the pumpkin patch!  Connor was in a mood and was not into getting his picture taken, so I did the best I could.

We then went home and got ready to carve the pumpkins.  Connor saw the picture on the front of the pumpkin carving kit and freaked out.  He sat inside until I could lure him out with pumpkin slime.  Boys can be so gross!  I carved Connor's pumpkin and Allen and Daniel worked together on theirs.  Boys being boys, I do not have any pictures of Allen and Daniel because none were appropriate to put on my blog.  Sorry!

Daniel's was the Grim Reaper and Connor had ghosts

The Sunday before Halloween, Rhonda and John's church had a little festival that I took the boys too.  It was freezing outside, so we didn't stay long.  Here is the boys in the bouncy house:

Later that night, when Allen got home from work, we took the small pumpkins we bought and painted them.  This is the first time we did this as a family activity and it was so much fun!

The finished products!

On Halloween, Daniel's class had a huge party.  Since it was my flex day, I got to go and hang out with him!  It was really nice and he had fun with his mama there (this might be the last year that I am cool enough to hang out with him at school).

Then it was time for Trick or Treat!  This is our first year in our new house.  Since there are kids all over our neighborhood, I decided to invite some people over to trick or treat with us.  I hate to say, but I was terribly dissappointed in the neighborhood, but we still had a blast!

From L to R:  Connor, JD (Dana & Jason's son), Gideon (Daniel's little brother), Lailani (daniel's little sister) and Daniel

We had a great time with a great group of friends and family.  I was sad because Allen had to work and missed all of it, but I was so happy watching my boys run and play and have a great time!

Sorry about the delay.... fair fun coming up soon!
